Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital awarded Chest Pain Center Accreditation by the American College of Cardiology

The American College of Cardiology (ACC) has recognized Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital for its demonstrated expertise and commitment in treating patients with chest pain. The hospital, which was acquired by Vanderbilt University Medical Center in January, was awarded Chest Pain Center Accreditation based on rigorous onsite evaluation of the staff’s ability to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients who may be experiencing a heart attack.

Tennova Healthcare-Harton is now Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital

Leaders of Vanderbilt University Medical Center announced today the acquisition of Tennova Healthcare-Shelbyville and Tennova Healthcare-Harton hospitals and their related businesses, including physician clinic operations and outpatient services, from subsidiaries of Community Health Systems Inc. (CHS). Terms of the transactions will remain confidential. Under VUMC’s ownership these facilities are now called Vanderbilt Bedford Hospital and Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital.
